❌ What You May Not Do

Attempt to disrupt, overload, or launch denial-of-service attacks against our hosting infrastructure.
Misrepresent WorldTimeBase calculations as official civil authority edicts.
Incorporate WorldTimeBase branding or trademarks into third-party commercial software without prior written authorization.

3. Calculation Accuracy & Disclaimers

WorldTimeBase utilizes industry-standard timekeeping databases and astronomical equations:

Time Zone Rules: Powered by the IANA Time Zone Database (tzdb) via your browser's native ECMAScript Intl engine.
Solar Algorithms: Derived from standard National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) solar equations.
Lunar Math: Computed via Jean Meeus astronomical ephemeris formulas.

Important Operational Notice: Regional daylight saving schedules, leap seconds, and civil time zone boundaries are established by regional governmental decrees, which are subject to legislative changes. While we strive for absolute precision, WorldTimeBase is not certified for life-critical flight navigation, legal statutory deadlines, astronomical observatory telemetry, or regulated financial market trading. Always verify mission-critical schedules with primary civil authorities.

4. Intellectual Property & Open Standards

The custom design, user interface components, visual layout, and proprietary source code of WorldTimeBase are protected by intellectual property laws.

Mathematical formulations, astronomical constants, and open interchange formats (such as RFC 5545 iCalendar, RFC 8259 JSON, and ISO 8601 timestamps) follow open, publicly available standards.
